and Adam Hardy welcome you to their B&B for non-smokers in the village of
Betws-y-Coed in the Snowdonia National Park. Bryn-y-Gwynt (meaning 'hill of the
wind') is a Victorian residence sympathetically refurbished to offer
comfortable, quality accommodation, whilst retaining the qualities of warmth and
hospitality.
Enjoy a varied breakfast with a view
Our pine furnished breakfast room enjoys a wonderful view across to the crags of
Clogwyn Cyrau and the tree-clad slopes of the Gwydir Forest Park (which
surrounds the village). Breakfast is freshly cooked using local produce, and a
variety of options is on offer from the 'full works', to a vegetarian cooked
breakfast, to lighter options.

You will find that our rooms are well equipped, and furnished for your comfort
with all the things you would expect (like remote control colour TV and beverage
tray) along with a few extra creature comforts (such as a hairdryer) to make
your stay as enjoyable as possible. To ensure a good nights sleep all our beds
are firm (so no roll-together!).
We have 2 double rooms which have en-suite shower and w.c., and a twin room with
private bathroom.
You are assured of the highest standard of cleanliness throughout the house.
Relax and enjoy the fresh, clean mountain air of Snowdonia
The village of Betws-y-Coed is an ideal base from which to explore North Wales,
and there are many things to do and places to visit within ¾ hour of the
village.
The surrounding area is particularly good for walking, whether you are looking
for dramatic high peaks or beautiful riverside rambles. Walkers are particularly
welcome, and we will dry your boots and waterproofs for you if you get caught in
the rain (yes, it does rain in Snowdonia sometimes!). You can plan your walk the
day before using the extensive selection of maps and books provided in our
guests' lounge. Packed lunches are available, and we will gladly fill your
flasks free of charge.
A payphone is provided for guests' use, and some off-road parking is available.
